4 Festive New Year’s Eve Cocktails
It’s almost time to get your gladrags on and raise a toast to the start of 2022. And what better way to welcome in the new year than with a selection of blissfully bubbly cocktails?
Whether you’re planning to take it easy in your PJ’s or live it up at a Zoom party with old friends, we’ve got the perfect cocktails to help you enter the new year in style.
Without further ado, lets raise a toast a better, brighter 2022. Cheers!
French Harvest 75
- 50ml Coastal Gin
- 25ml Sugar Syrup
- 25ml Fresh Lemon Juice
- Dry Sparkling Cider
- Lemon Peel
Add all ingredients, except the cider into a cocktail shaker, add ice and shake vigorously until cold. Strain into a Champagne flute.
Top with sparkling cider & garnish with lemon peel.
Gin Fizz
- 50ml Bullards London Dry Gin
- 30ml freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 15ml sugar syrup
- Ice
- Soda water
- Lemon wedge to garnish
Mix the gin, lemon juice and sugar syrup in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well, then strain into an ice-filled highball glass and top up with soda water. Garnish with a lemon wedge.
Old Tom Martinez
- 50ml Old Tom Gin
- 20ml Dry vermouth
- 10ml Apricot brandy
- Twist of orange peel
Add the gin, vermouth and apricot brandy into a mixing glass with ice and stir until well-chilled. Pour into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with a twist of orange.
Sparkling Strawberry Bellini
- 25ml Strawberry & Black Pepper Gin
- Dash of fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- Prosecco
- 2 fresh strawberries
In the bottom of a cocktail shaker muddle the strawberries, lemon juice and sugar. Add the gin and some ice. Shake well and strain into a champagne flute. Top up with Prosecco.
