Two Wins at the 2022 London Spirits Competition
As some of you may have already seen, we received some fantastic news regarding our Old Tom and Coastal Gin earlier this week.
We were absolutely chuffed to announce that our sumptuously warm Old Tom Gin has won Gold at the 2022 London Spirits Competition, and our delectably herbaceous Coastal Gin has won silver!
An award from the London Spirits Competition (LSC) is the ultimate seal of approval. Assessed by a leading panel of industry experts, each entry is judged based upon three main categories: quality, packaging, and value for money.
The goal of the LSC is to curate the best of the best in the industry, celebrating the drinks that not only taste exceptional, but have a strong visual appeal and true value for money.
CEO Sid Patel of event organiser Beverage Trade Network mentions that “The spirit needs to hit all the right notes to be enjoyed again and again. So, at the London Spirits Competition, we evaluate spirits that contribute to a spirit’s overall drinkability. Along with the quality, spirits are assessed for their appearance and value.”
These awards are a mark of all-round excellence, and we cannot thank the panel enough for their high esteem of our products, especially as we were up against some outstanding spirits this year!
